SEAentia visited by Semana Tanto Mar Summer Academy, organised by the School of Tourism and Technology of the Sea – Polytechnic of Leiria

We were visited by the “Semana Tanto Mar” Summer Academy, organised by the School of Tourism and Technology of the Sea – Polytechnic of Leiria, the Municipality of Peniche and FORUM ESTUDANTE. We welcomed fifty young secondary school students who signed up for this activity to explore the vast wealth of the sea and the surrounding coastline.

SEAentia accepted the invitation to be one of the companies to welcome these young people and let them know what the aquaculture industry has to offer and the importance of the work we do.

Aquaculture not only guarantees sustainable seafood, but also promotes coastal development and job creation. In this way, we preserve the oceans for future generations and guarantee a stable and responsible source of seafood.

It was a pleasure to be part of this initiative and we hope that this experience at SEAentia has helped to demonstrate the importance of aquaculture for our oceans, but also to recognise its fundamental role in building a more sustainable future.
