About the Project

The NoviFEED project aims to develop innovative computer tools to address one of the biggest challenges facing the aquaculture industry today – optimizing feeding – with the goal of contributing to more sustainable growth of the industry. The main objectives of the project are:
Research the effects of dissolved oxygen and feed composition on feed intake, nutrient utilization, and growth of Atlantic salmon and corvina, Argyrosomus regius.
Develop, apply and launch two innovative tools (IT), FEEDNETICS and FiT feed tables, to optimize the feed management of Atlantic salmon and Corvina.
