Brief introduction to SEAentia’s MP-RAS project

Have you heard about our MP-RAS project?

We think our RAS system, including our ultra-filtration water system, is able to reduce microplastic contamination in our fish. But to be sure, we are studying it with our partners SINTEF and IPMA.

Our corvina production with significantly lower levels of microplastics will improve its quality, adding value to the final product, ultimately benefiting human health.

This project is funded by the Blue Growth Programme of the EEA Grants Portugal.
